Tonal Shift
This a picture of my friend Louie taking a picture of the sky. This represents tonal shift because as you can see, the light and the dark completely contrast each other. The subject matter is my friend, and what makes him stand out is the light of the sun, which portrays Louie as a dark figure.
Lines
This is a picture of a cone in the middle of the pavement. As you can see, the lines sort of meet up in the center of the cone, which directs all of the attention to the cone. And to add, the lines are precise which lead everyone's attention precisely to the cone.
Color Contrast
This is a picture of the light post in our school with the grass as our back ground. This shows color contrast because just like tonal shift, the two colors completly contradict each other, the light teal with the darkish green, which moves our attention to the light post. It is the odd thing out.
Rule of Thirds
This is a picture, though hard to see, of a shrub surrounded by grass, soil, etc. This was taken by the rule of thirds, which is using two-thirds of the three-by-three grid of a camera/iPhone. The focus is clearly directed to the side where the shrub stands out.
